The Manitoba Chamber Orchestra opens the program with Music for a Celebration by Alexina Louie. It is followed by Resonance: Mayrhofer's Recycling Concerto, performed by the orchestra with special guest Leon Lorenz, German percussionist.

Special guest Leon Lorenz, a German percussionist, brings the concerto to life. Together with the orchestra, he turns everyday recycled materials into instruments, so that sound, creativity, and sustainability come together on stage.

The concert combines music, creativity, and sustainability. It asks listeners to consider how people and cultures connect and what they owe the world they share.

Presented as a celebration of Germany–Canada relations, the gala honours the long-standing bond between the two countries and looks ahead to cultural exchange, innovation, and sustainable thinking.

The evening offers music, connection, and international friendship, along with a concerto that treats recycling as an artistic statement.

Everyone is warmly invited to this memorable gala concert.
